Do You Glamourmom? I am sure most of you are sitting there wondering just exactly what a Glamourmom is right? Let me explain a little bit about this great product.
The Glamourmom Tank is a Patented Tank with a built in nursing bra. These tanks have a mesh lining that hold nursing pads in place, so that you don't have to use a nursing bra in addition to the tank. They also have clasps that are easy to fasten with one hand, and are easily hidden under other tops.
My absolute Favorite feature of the Glamourmom tank is that it comes in a Longer option. At 5' 8" I don't consider my self tall, but I do love to wear low rise jeans, and longer length shirts, and Glamourmom is the only company I know of that makes a nursing tank in a longer length.
Since this blog is all about great deals I want to share a little about my personal story and why I believe Glamourmom is such a great value:
When I was pregnant with my son, one of the first things I started doing was reading magazines (I am not a book person, so I got all of my information from magazines), Every magazine I read had ads and articles about Glamourmom, so naturally I went to their website to check them out. To be completely honest, I remember my first reaction being that "I didn't need to spend money on nursing clothes" so I went on and didn't think much about it anymore.
After my son was born I managed just fine for the first 3-4 weeks while I was mostly at home and could wear "comfy clothes" with my nursing bra's. I think it was the first Sunday I went to get dressed for church that I stood in my closet and thought "what am I going to wear?", I soon realized that I wore tank tops under most of my clothes and wearing a normal tank with a shelf bra over a nursing bra was too complicated.
What I found was that purchasing just a few of the Glamourmom tanks allowed me to save money in two ways. 1) I was able to continue wearing most of my pre-pregnancy clothes over my Glamourmom tanks, so I didn't purchase any other nursing clothes. The Glamourmom tank was all I needed. 2) The Glamourmom tank allowed me the freedom and flexibility to nurse anywhere I went. I was able to save tons of money buy breastfeeding rather than using formula.

You're so right! I thought the same thing - "I don't need those, and they're too expensive." I was wrong. I SO wish I had gotten a few of them! A mistake I will not make the next time around. I would get the standard black or white tank so I could wear it with just about anything. I wear white tanks all the time.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea! I am not nursing right now but I would love to win this and give it away to one of our members at NWA Mothers of Multiples. We have 3 or 4 new members who are pregnant now with twins and I am sure they could use it!!

I love the Glamour Mom Nursing Tank LONG (I'm with you on the low rise jeans!) Definitely would come in handy as I'm still nursing my daughter -- and at 9 1/2 months old, she doesn't like to be discrete! (She's too busy wanting to see what's going on) -- but mommy would sure like to be discrete!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

The nursing tank would be great to have! I wish I had the nursing tankini last year!!! It is so hard to nurse when you have a swimsuit on and are in public. That would have been a lifesaver!
