Sunday Paper - Walgreens Transactions for 4/5

I just wanted to let you know that tomorrow there are going to be 5 inserts in the Sunday Paper

2 Smart Source
2 Red Plum
1 Proctor & Gamble

This would be a great week to stock up on a few extra papers. I always use the Sunday Paper at Walgreens as a "filler" item when there are good coupons.

Here's my plan for tomorrow

Transaction #1
Colgate $3.49
Use $1.00/1 Coupon
= $2.49

Transaction #2
Edge Shaving Gel $2.99
Sunday Paper $1.25
Use $3.50 RR from Colgate
= $0.74

Transaction #3
1 Glade Scented Oil Lasting Impressions $5.99 each
1 Oust $2.99 each
3 One A Day Drink Mix Packages $1.49 each
Use 1- $4.00/1 coupons for Glade
Use 1- $2.00/1 coupons for Oust
Use 1- $4.00/2 One a Day
Use $3.00 Register Rewards from Shaving Gel
= $0.45

Total = $3.68

Easy Saver Rebates Earned ($2.00 for Glade, $1.00 for Oust, $1.49 for One A Day = $4.49)

Profit of $0.81

And I got a Free Set of Coupons!!!!
** Now remember to include tax. In Arkansas it's 9.25% so total I would spend an additional $1.96 in tax on all three transactions, so really I am paying $1.15 for all of the above items, which is still less than the cost of one paper**

  1. Mine came thudding against my door at 5:00 a.m. When I went to go and get it it was wrapped in a plastic sack that adversisted T.G.I FRIDAYS Complete Skillet Meals. On the end of the plactic sack there were two coupons - 1 for $2.00 off anyone frozen TGI FRIDAYS Frozen snacks party pack. And the 2nd coupon is for $2.00 off any one complete skillet meal. The new favors that they are adversing for the skillets are Cajun-style alfredo and the second one is Chicken and Shrimp. I do not know if all the Sunday papers will have these coupons on the plastic. Have a great day couponing ladies!

  3. Alisha,

Yes I have found them at the College and Joyce Street store by the mall, and the Springdale store on Thompson. At the Joyce St. Store they are at the front end cap by the weekly ad's they have a bunch there so that would be the best bet. In Springdale they are back by the Vitamins hanging on the shelf, but they didn't have as many.
