More Free Sunscreen!

Erin at Coupon Cravings posted a great new deal on Sunscreen. Target has the Coppertone Babies & Sport Sunscreens in Travel Size for only $0.97

Use this $1/1 printable coupon to get either one for Free!

Target's Corporate policy is to adjust the coupon down if the coupon value is higher than the item value, so you may want to email or call corporate before you go and keep the email and phone number handy in case you have problems.

Phone: 1.800.440.0680

I believe the price for the same sunscreen is $1.47 at my local Walmart, so if you are having problems at Target then you may be able to still get this for only $0.47 at Walmart.

  1. Definitely have a copy of their coupon policy! I had to leave without getting my sunscreen. Got home, called corporate, they agreed with me that there should not have been a problem. Called the manager when I got home, he immediately said yeah we can't do that, then you're getting something for free. I proceeded to read off their coupon policy, he immediately retracted and said that he would make sure that it never happened again. I'll believe that when I see it. LOL

  2. Did you call the Store Manager? I have thought about calling before I go :)

I have also heard of people calling corporate from their cell phone in the store and having them talk to the managers :)

What we have to understand is we are not doing anything wrong. They are not loosing money by letting us have it for free, they are making $0.97!!!!

  3. That's what I explained to the manager. The manufacturer is going to give Target the $1 for the coupon, so Target is losing NOTHING! That was after I read him their own coupon policy that says that they can adjust the coupon down if it exceeds the sale price. I don't think he was prepared for me to be so informed. He said, you are right, I see where it states that in the policy, I'll make sure that you don't have that problem again. I also told him that I was tired of coming in there and being treated like I was a scam artist. The manager this morning also told me that I could only use one coupon per transaction, I would have to check out and get back in line and buy one thing at a time. What a joke!

  4. The Target Store Coupons are Limit 1 Per Transaction. Typically I ask if they want me to do them in separate transactions, or all at once and they like it all at once because it speeds up the line.

The Manufacturer's coupons are a different story. I have emailed Target 3 times this week and haven't gotten any response except the same email with the coupon policy. :) Ha, I think it's an automatic message because one time I emailed it to them and asked a question and they emailed it back to me.

  5. I can understand limiting the Target coupons, but manufacturer coupons is a different story. It always just depends on the cashier. I have one guy that is super nice and he doesn't care how many coupons I use, but then there are always those that want to play coupon police.
