Deal Round Up

Everytime I check my computer I am overwhelmed with the number of deals that are out there. Tara over at Deal Seeking Mom did a great post on When is a Deal a Deal? I thought it was so great because you can't possibly do every deal so you have to determine what makes it worth your time and energy.

I think this can be determined by what stage you are in too. If you are just starting out trying to build a stockpile then you most likely are going to take advantage of almost all the great deals that are out there. I have found that as my stockpile has grown that I tend to only want to do deals that are money makers, or for products I need or am running low on. I also find that the longer I do this, I start to realize what products are free on a frequent basis, and which ones I need to stock up on when I find a good deal.

It's all a learning process, and everyone's style and amount of time is different. That being said, here are some great deals! Choose your favorites and enjoy!

Its Hip to Save has a great post on how you can get Dove Deoderant for Free at Walgreens, She also found a great deal on Children's Pepto and PediaSure bars.

Deal Seeking Mom has some great Target deals posted. You can get Motts Apple Sauce for Less that $1.00 I think at the Fayetteville Target it was $1.64 before coupons and $0.64 for a 6 pack after.

Check out my post here on how you can get Goldfish Crackers for less than $1.00 and Free Gillette Body Wash at Target. (*Note on the Body Wash Use the Coupon for $2.00/1 from this weeks 3/8 Procter and Gamble Insert)

Deals of the Week

Here are some great deals you can take advantage of this week to start working on your stockpile. You can get 3 Tubes of Toothpaste, 1 Bottle of Eye Drops, and a Bottle of Lotion for FREE. All you need is a copy of this Sunday's Newspaper insert and a computer.

Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste $3.29
Get $3.50 in Register Rewards
* There was a coupon for $0.75 in last Sunday's paper. 2/22/09

Blink Tears Eye Drops $7.99
Get $7.99 in Register Rewards
Use $1.50 Printable Coupon here to make this a money maker!

Colgate Total Toothpaste $3.49
(4 oz. Only)
Use the $2.50 Coupon from the easy saver book at the front of the store
Use the $1.00/1 Printable coupon here

You can print this coupon twice from one computer. I printed it 2 times from 2 computers and use all 4 coupons in one transaction.

Vaseline Lotion $2.69 (25% off this week)

Use $1.25/1 Coco Butter Lotion from today's paper

Get $2.00 in Register Rewards

I typically do 2 transactions at each store. Here are some tips to help you get started.

- You can only receive 1 register reward per item, per transaction. So you can't purchase 2 Eye Drops in the same transaction. You will only get 1 register reward.

- You can't roll Register Rewards from the same deal into that deal again. So you can't use the eye drops register reward to purchase another eye drops. The second transaction won't print a register rewards.

- You only need one coupon from the easy saver booklet even if you are purchasing 2-3 of that item. The coupon will scan the face value x the number of items on the ticket. For Example: If you have 4 Colgate Total's you only need 1 Easy Saver coupon for $2.50 it will scan at $10.00. Then you can use your 4 Printable coupons.

- I typically save my register rewards to purchase the Free after Rebate items so that I can get my money back.
